Broadcast Sorting
Broadcast Message Sorting
Keep your conversations organized when broadcasting.
What is the Broadcast Sort Feature?
When you send broadcast messages to your customers, all those conversations immediately jump to the top of your inbox. This can make it difficult to track conversations that actually need your attention.
How It Works
The broadcast sort button (megaphone icon with a down arrow) helps you keep the original conversation order by excluding broadcast messages during sorting.
When Active
- Conversations are sorted by their most recent non-broadcast message
- Conversations that consist solely of broadcast messages tend to sink to the bottom.
- Your most important conversations remain at the top
Example Scenarios
Scenario 1: Existing Conversation
You chat with a client. After 5 days, you send them a broadcast. With the button active, the conversation stays where it was (5 days ago position) instead of jumping to the top.
Scenario 2: Multiple Broadcasts
You chat with a client. Over 50 days, you send them 5 broadcasts. With the button active, the conversation is sorted by the last real conversation (50 days ago), not by the latest broadcast.
Scenario 3: Broadcast-Only Conversations
You send a broadcast to a new contact who has never replied. These conversations appear at the bottom of the list, sorted by their broadcast date.
How to Use
- Look for the megaphone icon in the conversation filters bar
- Click it to activate broadcast sorting
- A small down arrow appears next to the icon to indicate sorting is active
- Click again to return to normal sorting
Tips
- Use this feature after sending bulk broadcasts to keep your active conversations visible
- The setting is saved for each account, so you don't need to reactivate it every time.
- Combine with other filters (channels, labels, unread) for better organization
